An energy demand-side management and net metering decision framework

Demand side management (DSM) and net metering (NM) are two important strategies that can be used in smart energy systems to help utilities reduce peak loads increase the penetration of renewable energy, while also enabling customers save bills. In order effectively implement DSM NM programs, it is identify who most likely benefit from these programs quantify economic impact for both end-users. This paper proposes a decision framework utilizes meter data clustering analysis representative load patterns, five-stage method segmenting patterns create consumption intensity matrix. A fuzzy ensemble based multi-criteria making then applied potential customer groups impact. presents novel approach identifying developing personalized services demand management. The proposed evaluated through case study, which demonstrates its robustness identifies 13 typical seven weekdays six weekends, representing diverse behaviors. weekday perform better than weekend terms method.
